Shift Rod Oil Seal Replace

MODEL 300 TRANSFER CASE

1. When replacing left side shift rod seal, shift transfer case into 4L position.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Remove pins connecting control links to transfer case shift rods.











4. Using suitable tools, remove shift rod oil seal and install new seal.
5. Install pins connecting control links to transfer case shift rods, securing with new cotter pins.
6. Lower Vehicle.
