H. Reservoir Installation

1. Lubricate the supplied grommets with clean brake fluid and install them in the actuator ports.

2. Lubricate the reservoir nipples with clean brake fluid.


3. Press the rear reservoir nipple into the port nearest the mounting bracket. Then press the primary and secondary nipples into the actuator grommets. The bottom of the reservoir must be flush with the grommets on all three ports.

4. Inspect the complete circumference of each grommet pinched or buckled grommet or an excessive gap indicates that the reservoir is not properly seated into the actuator.

5. Connect the modulator-to-reservoir return hose to the nipple on the modulator, using a new clamp from the parts package. Tighten the clamp to 10 in.lbs. (1.1 N-m).
