Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Description and Operation

The ambient temperature sensor supports the thermometer function in the overhead console. The sensor is mounted outside the passenger compartment near the front and center of the vehicle and is hardwired to the overhead module. The ambient temperature sensor is available as a separate service item.
