B224E-POWER LIFTGATE MODULE INTERNAL

- When Monitored:
Whenever the battery is connected.

- Set Condition:
When the Power Liftgate Module senses an internal problem, this code will set.





DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) PRESENT
1. Using the scan tool, record and erase DTCs.
2. Cycle the ignition switch from On to Off.
3. Wait 30 seconds.
4. Turn the ignition on.
5. Using the scan tool, read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display POWER LIFTGATE MODULE INTERNAL?

Yes

- Replace the Power Liftgate Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Operate the power liftgate open and closed several times. Using the scan tool, read DTCs. If this code appears, replace the Power Liftgate Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
