1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle, then disconnect wiring from starter solenoid.
3. Remove starter motor attaching bolts and the starter motor. Remove shims, if used.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Reinstall any shims that were removed.
