SUBJECT: 1987 WRANGLER WITH 1988 CATALYST LABEL
GENERAL INFORMATION
Our records indicate that you have received one or more of 204 of our 1987 Wrangler vehicles that were shipped with a 1988 catalyst label located at the front underside of the hood.
The vehicles on the attached VIN listing require the installation of a new 1987 catalyst label. These vehicles must have the correct catalyst label installed prior to sale.
PROCEDURE
1. Raise the hood.
2. Locate the catalyst label at the front underside of the hood.
3. Wipe the existing label clean.
4. Install the new 1987 catalyst label over the existing label.
5. Close the hood.
PARTS
The labels necessary for the vehicles on the dealer VIN list are enclosed with
this letter.
