Test 11

Crankshaft Position Sensor:

CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR



1. Disconnect the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS).
2. Using an ohmmeter measure the resistance across the sensor terminals.
3. The ohmmeter should read 125-275 ohms at operating temperature. If resistance is not within specification replace the crank position sensor. If resistance is within specification refer to TEST 12.
