Emissions Maintenance Light: Testing and Inspection

1. Turn ignition switch to Run position.
2. Ground pin 6 of cluster connector.
3. If lamp does not illuminate, replace bulb.
4. If bulb is satisfactory, turn ignition switch to Off position and check for continuity between cluster connector pin 6 and engine controller cavity 56.
5. If continuity exists, replace engine controller. If not, repair open in circuit.
