Speed Control Input

PURPOSE
This input informs Powertrain Control Module (PCM) of speed control status


OPERATION
The speed control system provides three different input signals to the PCM; ON/OFF, SET, and RESUME.

The input, ON/OFF, indicates to the PCM that the speed control system has been activated or deactivated by the driver.

The input, SET, indicates to the PCM that a specific vehicle speed has been selected by the driver.

The input, RESUME, indicates to the PCM that the previously SET speed has been requested by the driver.
