NOTE:

Use a scan tool to diagnose TCU function whenever a fault is suspected. Replace the TCU only when it is actually faulty.


TCU REPLACEMENT

The TCU is located under the instrument panel on the passenger side of the vehicle.

1. Turn the ignition off.

2. Unsnap and remove the harness connector from the TCU

3. Remove the fastener that attaches the TCU to the instrument panel and remove the TCU.

4. Position the new TCU on the instrument panel and install the TCU fastener.

5. Snap the wire harness connector into the new TCU.
