MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS
The AX 15 transmission is used in this application, both 2 and 4 wheel drive. The identification code numbers for this transmission is on the bottom surface of the transmission case. The first number indicates year of manufacture. The 2nd and 3rd numbers indicate month of manufacture. The next series of numbers is the serial number.

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS
The AW-4 transmission used in this application, is a 4-speed, electronically controlled transmission. The transmission I.D. plate is attached to the right side of the case. The plate contains the serial and model numbers. Refer to the information on this plate when ordering service parts.
