Displaying & Reading Trouble Codes

Chrysler does not provide any trouble code number-driven diagnostics for this system. Testing information is provided for codes retrieved via the Chrysler Diagnostic Box Readout (DRB) in code description text format only. Alldata users have reported success using the code number with description by a generic scan tool matching the description to diagnostic information listed.

NOTE: For Full Diagnostic Procedures refer to Test 1A - Checking For Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

1. Connect DRB scan tool to data link connector, then place ignition switch in On position. Note the following:
- The data link connector is located beneath lefthand side of instrument panel, near steering column.
2. At DRB screen prompts, select "System / Anti-Lock Brakes / Teves," then read and record module information and any diagnostic trouble codes that are output.
3. Refer to Trouble Code Descriptions/Diagnostic Trouble Code Interpretation to determine proper corrective action based on diagnostic trouble code output.
