Instrument Cluster Lens and Odometer Reset Knob Boot

REMOVAL

WARNING: ON VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AIRBAGS, REFER TO AIR BAGS AND SEAT BELTS/AIR BAGS BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY STEERING WHEEL, STEERING COLUMN, OR INSTRUMENT PANEL COMPONENT DIAGNOSIS OR SERVICE. FAILURE TO TAKE THE PROPER PRECAUTIONS COULD RESULT IN ACCIDENTAL AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT AND POSSIBLE PERSONAL INJURY.

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the instrument cluster as described. Instrument Cluster Replacement

3. Work around the perimeter of the cluster depressing the snap clips that secure the cluster lens to the cluster housing, and gently pull the lens away from the cluster.
4. Remove the trip odometer reset knob boot by pulling it out of the lens.
5. Reverse the removal procedures to install.
