G-Switch Not Processable

WHEN MONITORED:
Ignition on.

SET CONDITION:
The Controller Antilock Brake (CAB) sends a test signal out to the G-switch from cavity 13 and monitors the sense circuits #1 and #2 at cavities 6 and 7. If the sense circuits are open for over 2 minutes while driving or an otherwise improper signal is detected at any time, the trouble code is set.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:
- G-switch #1 circuit shorted to ground
- G-switch #2 circuit shorted to ground
- G-switch #1 circuit open
- G-switch #2 circuit open
- G-switch test signal shorted to ground
- G-switch test signal open
- Failed G-switch
- Failed CAB

NOTE:
- A single asterisk (*) in the diagnostic chart indicates the Verification Test must be performed.

- A double asterisk (**) in the diagnostic chart indicates a connector must be checked, then cleaned or repaired as necessary.
