Customer Preference Messages
VEHICLE INFORMATION CENTER CUSTOMER PREFERENCE MESSAGES12 AND 24 HOUR MODE:
Selects the 12 hour or 24 hour mode for displaying the time. Place the VIC in setup mode to select the hour mode 12 HOUR CLOCK MODE (hours 1-12, AM & PM) or 24 HOUR CLOCK MODE (hours 0-23). If a Chrysler radio is connected to the CCD Bus, the VIC will suppress the hour and minute set function.
LANGUAGE
Determines which language the VIC will display messages in, English, French, German, Spanish, or Italian. Place the VIC in setup mode to change the language.
PERFORM SERVICE
The service interval are set in the VIC setup mode to "MILE TO SERVICE", from 2000 to 7500 miles in 500 mile increments, or "KM TO SERVICE", from 3000 and 12000 kilometers in 1000 kilometer increments. The VIC monitors a CCD bus message, from the BCM, to receive the distance traveled and US/METRIC display type. The "PERFORM SERVICE" message will be displayed if the Miles or Kilometers to service is equal to zero. The message will display for a maximum of 20 times and reset if the condition is corrected.

This message shows the distance to service in miles. The display ranges from a preset value to zero miles.
_____ KM TO SERVICE:
This message shows the distance to service in kilometers. The display ranges from a preset value to zero kilometers.
