Power Window Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
Front Door
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the front door window regulator from the front door and place the unit on a work bench.
3. Remove the screws that secure the power window motor to the front door window regulator.
4. Remove the power window motor from the front door window regulator.
5. Reverse the removal procedures to install. Tighten the power window motor mounting screws to 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.).

Rear Door
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the rear door window regulator from the rear door and place the unit on a work bench.
3. Remove the screws that secure the power window motor to the rear door window regulator.
4. Remove the power window motor from the rear door window regulator.
5. Reverse the removal procedures to install. Tighten the power window motor mounting screws to 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.).
