Compass Mini-Trip Computer (CMTC)

COMPASS/MINI-TRIP COMPUTER
The Compass/Mini-Trip Computer (CMTC) is located in the overhead console. It displays the following information:
- Compass direction.
- Current outside temperature.
- Average fuel economy (AVG ECO).
- Instantaneous fuel economy (ECO).
- Elapsed time (ET).
- Distance to empty (DTE).
- Trip odometer (ODO).
All of the information required by the CMTC except the dimming level, is transmitted over the CCD bus from the Body Control Module (BCM) or Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

NOTE: If the CMTC has been replaced, it may be necessary to recalibrate.
