All 1999 Wranglers built February 1, 1999 (MDH 0201XX) and later, equipped with a radio/CD player (sales code RBR), will contain an additional support bracket, which attaches to the rear of the radio (See Figure 1). The attaching screw will have to be removed when removing the radio.

The bracket was added to support the rear of the radio to prevent unnecessary movement and vibration. This allows for factory installation of CD players, which were not previously available.
