Ignition System: Locations

The Automatic Shutdown (ASD) relay is located in the Power Distribution Center (PDC).

The Camshaft Position Sensor and drive shaft assembly is located on the right side of the engine near the oil filter.

The coil rail is bolted directly to the cylinder head.

Two ignition coil capacitors are used One of them is located near the center of, and on the left side of the intake manifold. The other capacitor is located near the center of, and on the right side of the intake manifold.
