B. Test Fuel Pump Pressure (3.7 Liter Engine)

1. Locate the fuel pressure test port located on the right side fuel rail.

2. Connect pressure fitting adapter (CH8512) to the fuel rail test port.

3. Connect the pressure transducer (235159) to the pressure fitting adapter.

4. Start the engine and read the fuel pressure on the DRB III:

> If the fuel pressure reading is below 55 p.s.i., the fuel pump module does not require replacement. Turn off the engine and disconnect the transducer and pressure fitting adapter. If the vehicle is registered in California, continue with Section E - Complete Proof of Correction Form for California Residents. If the vehicle is not registered in California return the vehicle to the customer. No further action is required.

> If the fuel pressure reading is 55 p.s.i. or above, the fuel pump module must be replaced. Continue with Section D - Fuel Pump Module Replacement.
