Flip-Up Glass Release Switch Test
1.
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2.
Remove the
tailgate trim panel.
3.
Disconnect the wire harness connector.
4.
Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between the pins of the wire harness connector while pulling on the tailgate handle.
5.
If no continuity is found, replace the tailgate handle assembly.
