Vehicle Speed Sensor: Description and Operation

This vehicle does not have a "Vehicle Speed Sensor" Component. For Electrical Diagram(s) please refer to the following system(s):
- Antilock Brakes Systems (ABS) Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems
- Body Control Module (BCM) Body Control Module
- Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Engine Control Module
- Information Bus Information Bus
- Instrument Cluster Instrument Cluster / Carrier

With Antilock Brakes
This vehicle does not have a "Vehicle Speed Sensor" Component. The Vehicle Speed Sensor signal originates with the Wheel Speed Sensor(s). The Wheel Speed Sensor signals go to the Controller Antilock Brake (CAB). The CAB sends a Vehicle Speed Signal to the Body Control Module (BCM). The BCM sends the signal to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The PCM forwards the multiplexed signal to the Instrument Cluster and Speedometer via the Information Bus.
