Ignition System: Locations

The Automatic Shutdown (ASD) relay is located in the Power Distribution Center (PDC).

The Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) on this engine is bolted to the front/top of the right cylinder head.

The tonewheel is located at the front of the camshaft for the right cylinder head.

Two ignition coil capacitors are used One of them is located near the center of, and on the left side of the intake manifold. The other capacitor is located near the center of, and on the right side of the intake manifold.
