Power Steering Fluid



Power Steering Fluid Type
This system requires the use of Mopar(R) Hydraulic Fluid/Power Steering Fluid, or equivalent, which meets Daimler Chrysler Material Standard MS-10838. Part number 05142893AA


DO NOT use automatic transmission fluid (ATF) or other types of power steering fluids when servicing or topping-off the 2005 Grand Cherokee power steering / hydraulic system. A white service label has been affixed to the 2005 Grand Cherokee power steering reservoir that contains similar instructions.


Damage to the power steering / hydraulic system can occur if the wrong hydraulic / power steering fluid is used.
