Cylinder Head Bolts





Step 1: Bolts 1-8 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.)
Step 2: Verify bolts 1-8 Bolts 9-12 14 Nm (10 ft. lbs.)
Step 3: Bolts 1-8, 90 degrees.
Step 4: Bolts 1-8, 90 degrees, again. Bolts 9-12 26 Nm (19 ft. lbs.)
Bolts must be checked prior to re-use





Intake manifold bolts 12 Nm (105 inch lbs.)

Cam Bearing cap bolt 11 Nm (100 inch lbs.)
Working in 1/2 turn increments, starting with the middle cap working outward.

Camshaft sprocket bolt 122 Nm (90 ft. lbs.)

Exhaust manifold bolts 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
Starting at the center arm and working outward
