Fender: Service and Repair

FENDER

REMOVAL




1. Mark fender location.
2. Remove wheel if necessary.
3. Remove wheel liner, Refer to Front Fender Liner.




4. Remove front fascia as necessary, Refer to Front Bumper.




5. Remove front lower mounting bolts.
6. Loosen rocker panel cover as necessary.
7. Remove rear lower mounting bolts.




8. Remove upper fender mounting bolts.
9. Remove fender from vehicle.

INSTALLATION




1. Position fender on body.
2. If equipped, install radio antenna.
3. Install all screws finger-tight.




4. Align fender with adjacent body panels and reference marks. Refer to Body and Frame / Specifications / Dimensions.
5. Tighten all screws to 8.5 N.m (75 in.lbs.).
6. Install rocker panel cover as necessary.




7. Install front fascia as necessary.




8. Install wheel liner.
9. Install wheel if removed.
