Rear Cross-Member: Service and Repair

REAR CROSSMEMBER

REMOVAL

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Support the transmission with a suitable lifting device.

3. Remove the transmission mount through bolt.
4. Remove the six crossmember bolts (2) and remove the crossmember.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the crossmember and install the bolts.
2. Tighten the bolts to 47 N.m (35 ft.lbs.)
3. Install transmission mount through bolt and tighten to 88 N.m (65 ft.lbs.).
