Parking Brake System: Service and Repair
ADJUSTMENT - LOCK OUT NOTE: The parking brake is self-adjusting, It can not be adjusted.
1.
Remove the center floor console.
2.
Pull up on the spring until the tab on the lever passes the tab on the cable guide (3) and install a punch (2) in the hole on the side then release (Fig. 64).
3.
The park brake system is now locked out to perform necessary repairs.
