Component Locations

The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is attached to the side of the engine throttle body with 2 screws.

Early

4.0L MAP Sensor Mounting - Early:

An L-shaped rubber fitting is used to connect the MAP sensor to throttle body.

Late

4.0L MAP Sensor Mounting - Late:

An L-shaped rubber fitting is used to connect the MAP sensor to throttle body.
