Removal and Replacement
HEADLINERREMOVAL
1. Remove the A-pillar trim panels, Refer to Trim Panel.
2. Disconnect the headliner wire harness connector at the right A-pillar and washer hose located at the left A-pillar.
3. Remove the sun visor supports.
4. Remove the sun visors.
5. Remove the overhead console.
6. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, separate the visor storage bin (3) from the headliner.
7. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1 and 2).
8. Remove the overhead video monitor. Refer to Television/Monitor.
9. Remove the left upper b-pillar trim panels. Refer to Trim Panel.
10. Separate the C-pillar trim and position aside. Refer to Trim Panel.
11. Position the front seats fully forward and fully reclined.
12. Fold the rear passenger seats down.
13. Remove the rear upper header trim panel (2). Refer to Trim Panel.
14. Remove the rear push pins (3).
15. Separate the D-pillar trim panels and position aside, Refer to Trim Panel.
16. Lower the rear of the headliner downward from the roof panel and disconnect the rear washer hose.
17. Disconnect the headliner wire harness connector located at the left D-pillar.
18. Remove the sunroof trim ring, Refer to Sunroof/Moonroof Interior Trim.
19. Remove the screws and remove the grab handles (3).
20. Partially separate the door seals from the door opening.
21. Separate the fasteners (1) (hook and loop fasteners or clips) and lower the headliner.
CAUTION: Be careful not to crease the headliner.
22. Lower the front of the headliner downward and remove the headliner through the liftgate door opening.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the headliner (5) into the vehicle from the liftgate.
2. Lift headliner into place and seat the fasteners (1) (hook and loop or clips) fully.
3. Install the grab handles (3) and install the screws.
4. Connect the headliner wire harness connectors (3) located at the left D-pillar.
5. Connect the rear washer hose (1).
6. Install the push pins (3).
7. Install the D-pillar trim (1).
8. Position the rear header molding (2) and seat the clips fully.
9. Return the seats to their operating positions.
10. Install the C-pillar trim.
11. Install the upper B-pillar trim.
12. Install the overhead video monitor.
13. Connect the electrical connectors (1 and 2).
14. Position the visor storage unit (3) and seat into the headliner fully.
15. Install the overhead console.
16. Install the sun visors and install the screws.
17. Install the sun visor supports and install the screws.
18. Connect the headliner wire harness connector at the right A-pillar and washer hose located at the left A-pillar.
19. Install the A-pillar trim panels, Refer to Trim Panel.
20. Install the sunroof trim ring.
21. Position the door seals back in place.
