Front Door Channel-Glass

CHANNEL-GLASS

REMOVAL




1. Remove the outside rearview mirror.




2. Remove the front door glass.
3. Remove the weatherstrip from the front glass run channel.
4. Remove the nut (2) that secures the top of the front glass run channel (1) to the inside door panel.
5. Loosen the nut (3) that secures the bottom of the run channel to the keyed hole on the inside door panel.
6. Lift the front glass run channel upward within the door far enough to disengage the nut that secures the bottom of the run channel to the keyed hole on the inside door panel.
7. Remove the front glass run channel from the door.

INSTALLATION




1. Position the front glass run channel (5) into the door.
2. Install the weatherstrip into the front glass run channel.
3. Engage the bolt (4) into the keyed hole (3) on the inside door panel.
4. Tighten the bolt (4) that secures the top of the front glass run channel to the inside door panel to 7.5 N.m (65 in.lbs).
5. Tighten the nut (5) that secures the bottom of the front glass run channel to the inside door panel to 7.5 N.m (65 in.lbs).
6. Install the front door glass.




7. Install the outside rearview mirror.
