Cylinder Head Bolts





New cylinder head bolts must be used

Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 30Nm (22 ftl.lbs) following the cylinder head scheme and the following sequence: 3-2-1-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-11-12-13-14-15-16-17-18.

Without loosening any bolts
10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 additional 75°

Lateral cylinder head bolts
11-12-13-14-15-16-17-18 additional 50°

All bolts
10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-11-12-13-14-15-16-17-18 additional 75°

Maximum allowed warpage 0.1 mm (0.004 inch)

Cylinder head cover/intake manifold





To seat cylinder head cover/intake manifold
Alternate between bolts #11 and #16 7 Nm

Torque all 25 Nm

Exhaust Manifold bolts 36 Nm
Using a Diagonal-Cross Pattern
