Flash Checksum Failure

FLASH CHECKSUM FAILURE

- When Monitored:

Continuously.

- Set Condition:

When the flash checksum is determined to be incorrect.





Diagnostic Test

1. ACTIVE DTC

Turn the ignition on.

With the scan tool, erase the BCM DTC's.

Turn the ignition off then turn the ignition on and wait approximately 1 minute.

With the scan tool, read the BCM DTC's.

Did this DTC reset?

Yes

- Replace the Body Control Module.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test

No

- Test Complete.
