Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect negative cable from battery.
2. Remove the accessory drive belt. Accessory Drive Belt - Removal
3. Remove A/C compressor mounting fasteners and set the compressor aside. A/C Compressor - Removal
4. Drain the cooling system. Service and Repair
5. Remove the upper radiator hose.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector for fan mounted inside radiator shroud.
7. Remove the radiator cooling fan. Radiator Fan - Removal
8. Remove crankshaft damper bolt.
9. Remove damper using Crankshaft Insert 8513 (1) and Three Jaw Puller 1026 (2).




10. Using the Seal Remover 8511 (1), remove crankshaft front seal.
