Liftgate Lamp - Removal

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the trim (1) from the liftgate inner panel. Liftgate Trim Panel - Removal.
3. Pull the trim away from the liftgate inner panel far enough to access and disconnect the wire harness connector (3) from the back of the liftgate lamp housing (2).
4. From the back of the trim panel, compress the latch features on the outside of the lamp housing and push the lamp out through the mounting hole toward the face of the panel.
5. Remove the liftgate lamp from the vehicle.
