Outer Tie Rod End






OUTER TIE ROD END





1. Install the outer tie rod end (1) to the inner tie rod end to the exact number of turns noted during removal.
2. Install the outer tie rod end (1) to the knuckle. Tighten the nut (2) to 41 Nm (30 ft.lbs.), plus an additional 90° turn.
3. Tighten the jam nut to 75 Nm (55 ft.lbs).
4. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Service and Repair.
5. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
6. Reset the toe and center the steering wheel Service and Repair.
