Crankshaft Main Bearing: Specifications

CRANKSHAFT MAIN BEARING

Install the main bearing caps and bolts.
Tighten bolts 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.) plus 1/4 turn.

Install and tighten the NEW cross bolts and washer assemblies 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.).






CRANKSHAFT MAIN BEARING JOURNALS

Main Bearing Diametrical Clearance 1-2-3-4 0.011 - 0.055 mm (0.0005 - 0.0022 in.)
Wear Limit 0.076 mm (0.003 in.)






MAIN BEARING SIZE CODES

Bearing shells are available in standard and the following undersizes: 0.025 mm (0.001 in.) and 0.254 mm (0.010 in)
