Front Crossmember Isolator - Removal

REMOVAL

Special Tools:










1. Remove the engine cradle crossmember (2). Engine and Suspension Cradle
2. Remove the spacer (1).





3. As an installation reference, carefully mark location of isolator (3) requiring removal on crossmember (1) (around isolator can flange) using a marker or crayon. Do not use a scratch awl to mark location.










NOTE: Prior to using special tools, lubricate OTC puller 1182 or equivalent (1) threads to provide ease of use and promote tool longevity.

4. Assemble tools over isolator as shown.
5. Using OTC puller 1182 or equivalent and Remover/Installer, Bushing remover, remove the isolator (4).
