Ignition Coil - Removal

5.7L/6.4L

1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the coil (3).
3. Clean the area at the base of the coil with compressed air before removal.

NOTE: The ignition coil mounting bolts are retained in the ignition coil.

4. Remove the two ignition coil mounting bolts (2).

5. Carefully pull up the ignition coil (1) from the valve cover.
6. Remove ignition coil (1) from vehicle.
