Flip-Up Glass - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Open the liftgate glass.
2. Disconnect heated glass and wiper module electrical connectors.
3. Remove the four mounting screws through the glass (4).
4. Remove the hinges nuts (5).





5. Open liftgate (1).
6. Remove the upper header cover (3).
7. Disconnect the courtesy light connector.
8. Disconnect third brake light wiring connector and washer solvent supply hose.





9. Lower tailgate.
10. Disconnect the rear washer supply hose grommet (4).
11. Lift and remove the spoiler (1).





12. Open liftgate glass (1) and support.
13. Disconnect glass support cylinders (3) at the glass mounted ball studs (4) Gas Prop - Removal





14. Close the glass but do not latch it in the closed position.
15. Remove the rear glass holding nuts (1).

NOTE: Some assistance may be necessary for glass removal.

16. Remove the liftgate glass (4).
17. Remove the rear wiper module Rear Wiper Motor - Removal.
