B1A77- REMOTE START ANTENNA CIRCUIT LOW

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information.

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on. Remote start present and configured.

- Set Condition:
Short to ground detected on the Remote Start Antenna.





1. CHECK FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, record and erase the WCM DTCs.
3. Cycle the ignition switch from on to off three times, wait five seconds and then back to on.
4. With the scan tool, read the active WCM DTCs.

Does the scan tool display: B1A77- REMOTE START ANTENNA CIRCUIT LOW as Active?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- Verify the FOB in use is the FOB that caused this DTC to set. If it was, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals and correct pin tension.

2. CHECK WCM
1. Unplug the Remote Start Antenna from the WCM module.
2. With the scan tool, record and erase the WCM DTCs.
3. Cycle the ignition switch from on to off, wait five seconds and then back to on, wait five seconds.
4. With the scan tool, read the active WCM DTCs.

Does the scan tool display; "B1A79-Remote Start Antenna Circuit Open or Not Connected" as Active?

Yes

- Replace the Remote Start Antenna. Remote Start Antenna - Removal.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Replace the Wireless Control Module (WCM/SKREEM).Sentry Key Immobilizer Module (SKREEM) - Removal.
- Perform the WCM VERIFICATION TEST. Wireless Control Module (WCM) Verification Wireless Control Module (WCM) Verification.
