Dynamics Sensor - Installation






INSTALLATION






NOTE: The Occupancy Restraint Module (ORC) (4) is directly behind the vehicle dynamics sensor (2). Care must be taken while working near the ORC to avoid jostling or bumping the module.

1. Install the dynamics sensor (2) over the studs mounted to the floor pan tunnel.
2. Install the two mounting nuts (1). Tighten the nuts to 9 Nm (80 in. lbs.).
3. Connect the wiring harness connector (3) to the dynamics sensor (2).
4. Move carpeting back into original location.
5. Install the shifter housing Shifter Housing - Installation.
6. Connect the battery negative cable to the battery post. It is important that this be performed properly.
7. Perform the Verification Test and clear any faults Verification Tests.
