Engine - Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION
1. Place the sensor in a beaker of water with a thermometer and heat the water gradually.
2. Measure the resistance of the sensor using an ohm-meter.
3. If resistances are not within tolerance, replace the engine coolant temperature sensor.
4. Install the sensor in the engine.
5. Connect the sensor connector to the sensor.
