Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Battery:

MIL Lamp:

ERASING MALFUNCTION CODES
1. Disconnect the degative battery cable and depress the brake pedal for a minimum of 15 seconds to erase the malfunction code from memory, then reconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Staat the engine.
3. After warming up the engine, run the engine for 3 minutes at 2000 RPM.
4. Check that Maiflinction Indicator Lamp (MIL) does not light.
5. Turn off the engine.
