Backup Lamp: Description and Operation

With the ignition in "ON" or "START," battery voltage is applied to the back up light switch (M/T) or transmission range switch (M/T) from the "METER" fuse. When the vehicle is in reverse, battery voltage is applied to the back up lights and the lights illuminate.
