SERVICE TIP:

The automatic transmission fluid specification for Sephia, Spectra, and Rio has been changed from Dexron III / Mercon III to SP-III from the following production dates:

Sephia / Spectra 5/15/00
Rio 5/28/00

This ATF is a new Mitsubishi specification and is not interchangeable with any fluids available in the U.S. at this time. Also, according to the factory, SP-III must not be mixed with any other fluid.
