Brake Pad: Testing and Inspection

FRONT DISC BRAKE PADS
Check for fluid contamination and wear. Replace complete set of pads if defective.

NOTE: If a squealing or scraping noise occurs from the brakes during driving, check the brake pad wear indicator to see if it is contacting the brake disc. If the brake pad wear indicator is contacting the disc, the brake pad should be replaced.

CAUTION: The pads for the right and left wheels should be replaced at the same time. Never "split" or intermix brake pad sets. All pads must be replaced as a complete set.
