Clutch: Service and Repair

1. Remove Transmission following the procedures under "Transmission, Replace".
2. Disconnect push rod gaiter from clutch.
3. Remove slave cylinder and position aside.
4. Remove flywheel access cover
5. Remove clutch housing bolts, then disengage release lever from release bearing.
6. Mark position of clutch housing, then remove.
7. Loosen, then remove clutch cover bolts in a diagonal pattern.
8. Remove clutch friction plate.
9. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Ensure all matting surfaces are clean.
b. Apply Molykote FB 180, or equivalent grease to splines.
c. Position friction plate on flywheel using alignment tool No. LRT-12-001, or equivalent.
d. Tighten to specification.
