Tightening

CYLINDER HEAD GASKETS - RENEW

Bolts Positions And Tighten Sequence:

Note: Left hand cylinder head illustrated, arrow points to front of vehicle.

Lightly oil new bolts and tighten in the sequence shown.

Stage 1 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Stage 2 90°
Stage 3 Further 90°

Note: There are no bolts fitted in the four lower holes in each cylinder head.
