Generic Electronic Module (GEM)

Removal
1. Move the passenger seat cushion fully rearwards.
2. Remove the Generic Electronic Module (GEM) access panel.
^ Release the 2 clips.





3. Move the passenger seat cushion fully forwards.
4. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
5. Remove the GEM.
^ Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.

Installation
1. Install the GEM.
^ Connect the electrical connectors.
2. Connect the battery ground cable.
3. Move the passenger seat cushion fully rearwards.
4. Install the GEM access panel.
^ Install the clips.
